DigiGirls is a FREE 3-month digital skills training program designed to equip women and girls aged 15-40 years old with in-demand basic to intermediary employable digital skills.
The program aims to drive positive livelihood outcomes for our beneficiaries, improve employment prospects, encourage digital entrepreneurship in women and girls, and generally provide marginalized females in underserved communities with the skills needed to develop successful careers in today’s digital economy.
Training will commence in August, running for 3 months till October. Participants will take 2 compulsory pre-requisite courses, Cyber-awareness and Soft skills before choosing their specialized learning paths from one of Data Analysis, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Graphics Design, or UI/UX Design.
While training is open to women and girls living in every part of Nigeria, physical training will ONLY be available to selected beneficiaries living in LAGOS and KADUNA. Virtual classes will be held for beneficiaries resident in other states of Nigeria or those who choose the virtual learning option.
Learning Paths
The learning journey has been designed to begin with digital literacy and systematic progress from basic cybersecurity concepts to more specialised niche cybersecurity learning. Midway through the fellowship, beneficiaries will choose and focus on one of the following tracks/career paths.

Learning Modules
Cybersecurity Awareness
This training will educate you on how to protect your computer and personal information, stay safe from cybercriminals, successfully identify cyber threats and avoid falling victim.
Basic Digital Literacy
This is the first and introductory training which will equip you with the right skills needed to access information digitally.
Cybersecurity Awareness

Desired Intermediate Digital Skills:
This training will be delivered by experienced professionals, and you’ll be allowed to only pick one the following tracks/career paths: Data Analytics, Graphics Design, Intermediate UI/UX, Digital Marketing, E-commerce
Soft Skills & Entrepreneurship Skills
This part of the training will teach you everything you need to act as a professional in the workplace by equipping you with leadership, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and other skills to complement your hard skills and help them become a successful professional.
