How to Easily Link Your NIN to Your 9mobile Line in Nigeria
If you are a Nigerian and own a SIM card, it is compulsory to link your National Identification Number (NIN) to your mobile number.
As the Nigerian government made it mandatory, telecommunication companies like 9mobile have made the process faster and efficient.
In this article, we will be discussing the various ways to link your NIN to your 9mobile line easily.
What is NIN?
NIN stands for National Identification Number, a unique 11-digit number assigned to every Nigerian.
If you are a Nigerian citizen, you should own a NIN.
9mobile is one of the top telecommunication companies in Nigeria, and they have made the NIN-SIM linkage process effortless.

How to Link Your NIN to Your 9mobile Number
There are three ways to link your NIN to your 9mobile SIM.
You can do it via the 9mobile NIN Code, 9mobile NIN Portal, or the NIMC Mobile App.
Here’s how to do it:
Method 1: Link NIN via 9mobile NIN Code
Dial *200*8# to link your National Identification Number (NIN) on 9mobile.
Method 2: Link NIN via 9mobile NIN Portal
Visit the 9mobile NIN portal via this link and fill in the required info. Click on submit and wait for the SMS that’ll be sent to your 9mobile number.
Method 3: Link NIN via NIMC App
To link via the NIMC Mobile App, you will need your National Identification Number (NIN) and a mobile number (provided at NIN enrolment) to receive an OTP upon using the Mobile ID app.
Linking your NIN to your 9mobile SIM is now easy with the three methods mentioned above.
